Wayzata, Maplewood, 和猎鹰高地 win the 2023 家庭能源 Squad Intercity Challenge!
Center for Energy 和 Environment (CEE) would like to congratulate the 2023 Intercity 家庭能源小组® Challenge winners: Wayzata, Maplewood, 和猎鹰高地.
的城际 家庭能源小组® Challenge is a collaboration between CEE 和 over 20 Minnesota cities to challenge residents to have an energy audit through the 家庭能源 Squad. With an energy audit from the 家庭能源 Squad, homeowners can take control of 和 better underst和 how their home uses energy, creating opportunities to address potential energy efficiency upgrades 和 discover simple behavior changes to save energy daily.
This a year-long challenge encourages friendly competition between cities to promote the importance of investing in home efficiency. 整个挑战过程, CEE tracks the number of energy audits 和 rebate- eligible energy efficiency upgrades completed in each participating city, 和 the cities with the highest number of visits 和 rebates per capita are crowned the winners. CEE started hosting this challenge in 2020, 和 since then the number of participating cities has grown to 25 cities. In 2023, 3,609 homes in the participating cities received a 家庭能源 Squad visit, 639 of those were for income-qualified households, 和 753 rebates were received.
